At home make sure your child knows the number words to 100. Make flash cards and practice a little bit every day. |
Fluency passages are very important for your child to use for practice. Keep them at home and practice reading as fast as you can in a minute. By the end of the year students should be reading at least 40 per minute (but we want to strive for more). |
