Number Words To 100
At home make sure your child knows the number words to 100. Make flash cards and practice a little bit every day.
Fluency
Fluency passages are very important for your child to use for practice. Keep them at home and practice reading as fast as you can in a minute. By the end of the year students should be reading at least 40 per minute (but we want to strive for more).

Writing
Your child should add to the story daily.
 Write an introducing sentence about a time you played with a friend. Add 2 sentences with details about this time you played with a friend. Add another sentence and reread to make sure your story makes sense. Add a conclusion sentence to your story and read it to someone to see if it is ok. Correct any mistakes.

Reading
