Thanks for dropping by!

I am so happy that you are here! This website was started as a positive link between school and home. I hope that you will find it a useful tool to assist you in keeping informed of classroom happenings. Some pages will change weekly while others may stay the same. To help with first days of school, I have an Orientation Page set up with all you need to know. I've also included the first grade Spelling List so you will be informed ahead of time what words your child will be expected to study. In addition, you will find pages called Reading Tips for Parents and Reading Styles and Strategies that will give you some insight into your child's reading abilities. Click here to read why homework is an important part of your child's day and here to view our daily schedule. If you would like to volunteer in our classroom click here to see all the possibilities. Finally, I've also included some interesting links for parents, teachers, and students.
Thanks again for visiting!!
